Allen/UKC
Ok, since your the new moderator for this board we need a little info about you.
I think you have been pretty much involved in the coonhunting end of things with UKC so far but we wont hold that against you to much to get started with.
Are you a Michigan fan?
Are you a Ohio State fan?
Are you a Nascar fan?
Are you a fan of anything else that could be used against you in any way......ect.....ect.
Some folks on here will need to know this kind of info so they can get stocked up on bumper stickers. (I wont mention any names!)
ALLEN is sure enough a NASCAR fan --I want say who his driver is but he drove for a new team this year --lol lol lol ---I hope he take over the beagle division of UKC

Bartlett, the only interests I have is hunting. That's the only info I'm making public at this time. Sorry. I'm not a glutton for public embarrassment like Morgan was.
And.... if I ever see a picture of me dancing (alongside you) on the sidelines with the cheerleaders at a Buckeye Fumbleball game would result in a first-class trip to Stoney Branch, Illinois.
hehe.
Go ahead - try to pin the tail on that donkey!
Thanks Doug. Let the harrassment begin.
Nice to meet you Allen...
Jack

Better be careful how you talk to Allen and TK from UKC they are famous people. If you go back and watch American Idol season 1984 will see both of them playing there guitar and singing away. I am hoping they bring there music and guitar back to the beagle hunts. I have Luke my oldest son signed up for a class starting this fall.
Allen,
Im afraid your going to have to watch your back around some of the folks around here. Unlike myself, there are some folks on here that like to keep the pot stirred up as much as possible. If they get to be to much for you just let me know and I will see if I can get you some backup. I know of a guy up there in Michigan that goes by "THE SHERIFF" that I might be able to arrange some personal protection for you with.
Up until the cheerleader picture came out I kind of felt sorry for poor old Morgan.....It seemed like everytime he left Michigan he ended up with a Ohio State bumper sticker on his vehicle or some other antic.
Hey, Alen welcome aboard. You have to watch Stoney he's an instagator. I just like to post pictures.
Thanks thornie.
Most of you probably aren't aware of it but I've been employed at UKC for nearly four years now. My specific department is the Coonhounds however my office is right next to where Morgan used to sit so I did get to hear a lot of what was going on in the beagle world. I coonhunt for the most part but also enjoy rabbit hunting. Always have. My old dog is now 12 and losing his sight and hearing but still loves to run. Then I have a two year old that's just ok I guess. He doesn't get the running he should. Especially, this time of year. Back in the day I used to draw some of you fellars. Many good memories of some of those hunts.
Aaron, seems like a year or so ago Morgan recieved a little Ohio State Buckeye Santa Claus in the mail. I don't think the little guy even got to see Christmas morning!
Welcome Allen...
The Beagle Guys are a little Different breed than them Coondog Fellas Not NEAR as Serious.........Guess it Comes from Gettin out of the Dark!!!!!!!
And Seein the Light!!!!!!!

Hopefully we can meet in person in the near future so we can put words to a face.

adwater, I still run both as well but not in competition. I tried it for several years when I was younger but it got to the point where I felt just I couldn't do them both justice. This spring, however, I ran the beagles about as much as the big dogs which doesn't say a whole lot. Even carried my young pooch down to the Howe club a few months ago. The other guys dogs in my cast ran a deer and my pooch followed them around but only to see what was going on. They scratched me too. ???????? Kinda reminded me of the first time out with his daddy. Donnie Yant may or may not remember that day. Seems like we barely lasted 15 minutes. Guess you could say he's a "chip off the old block".
Ok, "followed" might be an understatement. I might have a hard time sleeping tonight without owning up to the truth before the sun goes down.
Allen
If you had any sense at all you wouldn't deal with Bartlett or the Sheriff, trust me no good can come from that. They live for ribbing .
Trouble.
Trouble.
Trouble.
The Legend+
That's what I've heard legend. I'm learning quick.
Hey, you all have a great weekend. I'm headed over to New Castle, PA in the morning for this weekends UKC Youth Nationals. That's a fun time with the kids. They have a blast and usually have us worn out by the end of the day but it's all worth it. That's what you guys need - a big beagle event for the kids. I bet they'd love it.
I agree. There should be a youth nationals in the beagle program.
