Abe is Missing- ATTN: Ashtabula Hunters!

We lost thunder and Abe last night while hunting. We recived a call and got thunder back this morning, but Abe is still missing.

Anyone that lives around the intersection of 46 and Footville-Richmond please keep an eye out for him (bluetick male)

We have searched and searched... we are thinking that he ended up bedding down since it was 96 today.

more than likely abe found a good place to bed down for the night on someone's porch or in their barn. hope you find him soon.
it took 6days for sam to show up. he finally went up on someon's porch for the night and they got ahold of him and called us. it was such a relief to have him back.

I hope you find your dog & he is fine. This does make me think of a question old timers used to ask, why is it so easy to lose a good dog & you can't lose a sorry dog if you tried?

Don't let anyone make you feel bad about not having a tracker. We lost a walker female a few weeks ago and she HAD a tracker on with Id on it and also a regular collar with name and number on it. She showed up five days later in the next county over still wearing that collar, barely giving off a signal but still working.

Trackers don't always work, sure they help, but just becuase they are wearing one doesn't mean they'll never get lost.

So very true, 2 years ago we were hunting in a bad wind/rain storm that turned to snow the end of January. We lost Prancer for a while when he got down a bank, not even one beep on the tracking system for a long time.

i hope that u find him Jarrod....i lost a friend of mines dog and went back 2 look 4 him and i found him tied up 2 a fence and i asked the guy if he had called the number on the collar and he said he did and i go 2 lookin at it and he had a nother guys collar on him...it was the right dog though! i sure hope u find him though
