? on water proofing a old wick coat
I have tried to water proof my wick coat with cylicvone spray but it seems to soak up the water that much faster, any ideas?
Thompson's water seal
What about Scotch Guard? Not sure if it would work, but it's a suggestion.

I have use scotch guard before but I didn't know they made a spray in thomson water seal.
Camp Dry
I have used Camp Dry for years on old gore-tex boots, jackets, nylon chaps and Wick nylon style hunting jackets. Super stuff. Spray it on and let it dry. If it is older gore-tex put a second coat on after the first dries. Originally made for small tents and like.

I agree with Randy. I have used camp dry on coats and chaps. It works great!
