owen's stylish nocturnal shaker got 1st place tonight 4-25-08 to finish to nitech his 4th ukc hunt 2nd,1st,1st gonna put him in his first nitech cast 4-26-08 thanks for reading wish me luck gonna go for grand hope to get a few hunts in before it gets to hot and the leaves make it difficult to get plus points

thanks alot, very exciting and really rewarding when i put so much time and gas money into getting him ready to make a run in the hunts. i knew he was ready to win i just didnt know if i could do him justice handling him.so far so good i havent screwed up to much.i called somebody elses dog treed two wknds ago .got 125minus made me sick when i got back to the club and found out that 125minus cost him a 1st place he got 2nd that night.

it sure can be alot of fun if you draw a good cast honest good natured folks.i know its a contest but my philosophy is to tryn be fair and honest and do my best to get along with everybody.but if theyre dishonest and nasty i can be one of the nastiest sob"s alive.

thanks' those are some good looking blue dogs.i gotta soft spot for blues my first dog was a blue gyp i got when she was a pup.i get really attached to a dog that works so hard to please me.you can tell when you get one of those special dogs.ive been blessed with 2 of those dogs so far.

I love to hear about good hound human relationships. I''ve not had the pleasure of hunting with my own hound! Our dogs at home are pets and my female(the half I own

well and the other half too....) lives in WI with my partner and hunts w/one of his sons and lives with their family. The Kids Love her

We will be going to NH to hunt with a friend who has some nice hounds and can't wait. We hadn't thought about this sport since the 70s and getting back to the woods was a BIG goal after I had some health issues.
I'm so glad to hear how much you enjoy this incredible sport and the hound human connection that non coonhunters just don't "get". Look forward to hearing more about you and your hounds in the future!

Congrats, thats quite an accomplishment, 4 hunts. I hope your quest for GRNITECH is a lot of fun.
