Lucky to be alive!

Was in a hunt last night and the dogs cross a river that was out of the banks and with turkey season coming in the next morning I knew I had to Get X. To make a long story short, after 5 hours of walking and driving I found him tree under a cliff. I put two dogs on the lead but it was impossible to get back to the top of the cliff leading two dogs so I decided to walk around it. I took a couple of steps and fell in up to my chest and the water swept down the river until I grab hold of a rock on the bank. I was loosing my grip and seen a small tree and luckly got my hand on it ( Thank you to the man up above) and pull myself up. Life is two short and you never know what could happen to you, so be careful out there. I would just like to take the time to think God, because there is no doubt he was watching over me. TO make matters worse, I won my cast, but the other nite ch cast come in with a bigger score. You would have thought they would have felt sorry for me and scratch there cast. lol.

I'm really glad you got out of your ordeal, Tim. Sort of a worst nightmare falling into fast moving water. Over the years I gotten into the habit of saying a prayer for safety for myself and my dogs just before I go into the woods. May you have many more great nights in the woods.

Thanks for all the replys. If anybody is trying to call my cell, good luck because it is shot. Brand NEw phone, oh well, it could of been worse. My blazer light and tracker still work, well at least for the time being. I guess Im going to be crazy and it again tonight. I wonder why were so addicted to this thing.lol. Tim

Glad to hear you're okay. I always say a prayer for my dogs, myself and all of our cast members before we head out. It gives me peace and safety comes first, even when winning seems like it should be. Once again, glad to see that you are allright.
