I saw it at Tractor Supply last night for $21. Is that about what everyone else is paying? It's only $2 more than the Dog Chow, so I might give it a try.
if you have a sam's nearby go to it, here it's $18 and the sam's brand is the exact same thing. i had a guy tell me that his dad worked for purina for 34 years and the only difference is the bag. look at the ingredients' hope i was some help!!
quote:funny you should say that.i found it at a tractor supply for 20 a bag.(hi pro) i fed it for a number of years but got to expensive.i switched back to purina hi pro. ive always been a believer.Travis

Hi Pro for me... dogs are full of energy and stay in good shape. I mix about 6 eggs a day in though to get an extra kick and feed a little less dog food since I get eggs for free!
Hi Pro
Only thing I don't like about it is I don't think their stool is as solid as I would like to see it!

I feed it year around with plenty of fresh water.
Seems like all the feed is starting to increase in price. Im sure thats thanks for corn prices last year and fuel cost!

I've been savin. It takes a while to get those 7,000 points! I've got dog chow and puppy chow. Do you use them like coupons or is it a check you can deposit?
Anybody that is paying over $19 dollars for a bag of Hi-Pro is paying way to much, there are several companies out there making dog food that is alot better than Hi-Pro and several dollars cheaper to boot. Look around!
it has gone up to almost 20.00 a bag in most places.been feeding dog chow it is real good feed, but both of them are real good feeds.
