WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT THE HUNT SATURDAY NIGHT!

MAN, IT WAS COLD! WHEN WE LEFT SYLVA, IT WAS 61 DEGREES THERE, GOT TO ASHEVILLE, AND IT WAS ONLY 45!!

IT WAS RAINING, WINDY, AND COLD!

I CANT REMEMBER WHO WON WHAT AT THE SHOW. I KNOW QUINCY GOT BEST OF SHOW FEMALE WITH A PLOTT FEMALE NAMED GRACIE HE'S SHOWING FOR JR KEEFER.

BECKY GOT GRCH FEMALE WITH ZENA. AND I THINK SHE WON OVERALL FEMALE AND OPPOSITE SEX IN THE ALL PLOT SHOW. I HOPE I GOT IT RIGHT! LOL. I'M SURE SHE'LL STRAIGHTEN ME OUT IF I DIDNT. I GOT KINDA CONFUSED HOW THEY DID THE ALL PLOTT SHOW ANYWAYS! LOL

SID WON THE NTCH PART SAT NIGHT, BUT THAT'S ALL I KNOW.

It was good to see you both, seems like we only see each other at the NC Plott Sectional - I need to get out more LOL! We did not make it to the Seafood Restaurant - changed my mind at the last minute - went Mexican. But we will try that place next time.

I was like you about the show - sure was a lot of returning - Zena and I were pooped by the time it was over. She didn't too bad for a come back after pups. And her pup did just great - after his pee break LOL!! So now I will have to do a little bragging.

All Plott Show:

Overall Winner: 'PR SUNCREST STANDING ON THE PROMISE "Stanley"-
(Out of our very first litter and he is on his way to making a coondog - we hope!!!) He will be a year old on Friday.

Opposite Sex Winner: GRCHPR SUNCREST DRY RIDGE DISTRACTION "Zena" .

UKC SHOW:

Zena won Grand Female
and won overall female plott, also.

It was a great moment to put both Mom and Pup up as the overall male and female winner!!! And Stanley's dad GRCH SUNCREST LOOKING UP BILL was the winner last year. So we are so appreciative of everything.

Don was second in the All Plott Hunt with our newest female
CH PR PRICE'S COVE CREEK CASEY.

As you know I love my Plotts!!

Congratulations to all the winners ! - may have a picture or two later on.

Casey is doing just fine. Don has not got her vet visit yet. But it was just one of those weird things. She seems to be back to normal now.

Yes, John that is Stanley you saw him last September. He has grown up a little since your vist. He is a lot of fun - and he's working pretty good for Don in the woods too. So far he has shown a lot of tracking ability and he LOVES to tree. Hope he meets Don's standards he's pretty picky as you know.

.........as you know he loves to use it too!!!! Don't let anyone tell you that a Plott don't have a mouth - so far all our pups have them horns.

Don did take Casey to the vet. They drew blood, did several exams and the vet felt like she probably over excerted herself at the tree and burst a blood vessel. He gave her an exam and said she was fine. Bloodwork was good too. Told Don she would be all right to hunt.

Live and learn. You never know what can happen on a nite hunt.
