Water Races

Rule #2: The number of dogs to run in a heat will be determined by the number of dogs entered. (A minimum of four dogs and a maxium of six dogs per heat.)

Scenerio 1:

7 dogs entered (registered). club has 4 hole box.
1st heat: 4 dogs
2nd heat: 3 dogs - this does not meet Rule #2 - now what???

Scenerio 2:

7 dogs entered (reg). club has 6 hole box.
1st heat: 6 dogs
2nd heat: 1 dog - this does not meet Rule #2 - now what????

are the "odd" dogs disqualified? are the handlers reimbursed entry fees?

This is a subject that has many interpretations and I have been unable to find the answer. Any help?

There will be a new chart

Because of a lot of clubs being confused( I wouldn't know who one of them would be), Todd is going to supply a chart in the pack like the night hunts. Now we won't have the excuse of saying, "I didn't know!"
