legal coonhunting breeds

what breeds are allowed to particapate in ukc coonhunts




p.s. i have a bloodhound and i am trying to figure out if he can compete

NO, Black and Tans, Blueticks, English,Redbones,Walkers, and Plotts. You really have a bloodhound that trees coon?Thats pretty cool.

yeah hes a mite better than all the dogs ive ever had it sucks he cant compete oh well i was trying to figure out what the guideline wording was

You can Run him PKC as a "Other" or Sgl. Reg. as PKC Black and tan or Red which ever color he is ..

You can also run him UKC, some Clubs have Grade or Open Casts..

Also he can run in NKC .. Which has quite a few hunts.

She is a really nice girl and great attitude. She does very well in with our Majestics. She had been in a kennel at an elderly lady's house and not fooled with for most of her life. I brought her home and worked on her weight and coat and she is looking great.

My husband and I took her out the first time on coon and she loved it. She seems to be a natural. She has beautiful markings and a lot of black.
