Dog insurance

Say a guy (or gal) goes out and buys a $5000 hound. Can he put some kind of life insurance on this dog?

Has anyone heard of this?

Is this possible?

Someone once told me the best way to do it is through your homeowners insurance.

lyods of london will insure any thing most of the dog polices cover medical insurance rather than the value of the dog

A good hound dog will give his life for you. To return the favor is the least you can do.
