Just wanted everyone to see a site with the greatest slat mill on the market. Bob Lummus has been making slat mills since early 1980's and still on top. Best conditioning around in a controlled atmosphere.

Folks.....Thanks to some Democrat policy makers Slat mills are considered fighting dog paraphanelia in many states and can get you a felony conviction for even owning one.

Please know your state laws concerning these..It doesnt matter the breed...owning one can get you in trouble in several states.

Coonhunterky...Many states classify them as fighting dog paraphenalia...Even putting a dog on a human treadmill can get you in tropuble,...... When I hoghunted I ran my catchdogs ona treadmill to keep their endurance up and was warned by my local game officials that doing that could get me in big trouble. When I done seme research I found that it is illegal in many states. \
i tried to buy a slat mill off the internet and was told I couldnt because of the state I live in.

Check out Senate Bill 1072
If you have any dog that is used for chasing wild game it is considered a "fighting dog" in many states. Especially if you are a hoghunter. Also notice that the breed of dog isnt important.

folks i do not fight dogs nor are these mills made for fighting dogs. there are treadmill races, weight pulling, show dogs, field trial dogs, and whatever else is out there. This is a mill to condition a dog for these events and others. Also conditioning a dog helps the health of a dog, help stop or slow down annoying unnecessary barking, helps build a bond between dog and person conditioning dog, helps take bordom out of dog, and helps calm a dog that is high strung. builds muscle and increase oxygen in blood, increases cardio.

I agree 100% TIG...but more and more states are classifying using them as a method to train a dog as dog fighting paraphenlia.

well I know that if the law tries to press charges for anything they must prove without a shadow of a doubt. On anything. It is not against the law to take care of a pet like you would your own body. I have a buddy who is a police officer and lives in a city where pitbulls are outlawed and he see lot of apbt and staffords and nothing happens becuase 99.9% of them are owned by responsible pet owners.

coonhunter...The very law s used to convict dogfighters are also being used to make hunting dogs classified as fighting dogs.

notice the law I oposted says the breed of dog isnt important..paraphenalia is paraphenalis...whether you own a pit or a poodle.

No,m that isnt what they are saying,,,Just being in possession of one that can be proven to be used to condition a dsogm, regardless of the breed will get you a felony conviction in SOME states.

Make sure of your states laws before you exercise a dog this way.

And watch your language.

In many states it is illegal for hoghunters to even have break-sticks.

Paraphanalia is heavy chains, collars over 2" wide, harnesses...to name a few.

Just recently South carolina used a dogfightin law to stopa hog and bear bay competition put on by the Plott hound association that has been held for decades.

I hunt more than most people thank you... If you dont have anything constructive to say then keep your pie hole shut. I am trying to warn people that many states regard just owning a treadmil for dog use as illegal and even a felkony in some and they need to get active to make sure the laws are stopped or changed.

if you have a problem with that then you need help.

Any FYI..I get paid to take people hunting. I take country music singers and TV show folks hunting. They call me to set up a hunt.

I havent read any legislation regarding pools....yet. I have videos of me exercising ym Catchdawgs in a pond.

If you own a leather collar over 2"in width in some states you can be arrested for owning fighting dog paraphenalia.

I am with you Wipeout. Keep sticking your heads in the sand fellas, eventually when you pull your head out there won't be anything left.

What harm is there in getting some information? You act like Wipeout is the one trying to take away your rights. Did you call your parents names when they explained that if you go over the speed limit you can be fined for it? I think not.
