Question For Redtick(or any other English breeder)

Dave, I need some info again on some dogs.

I just bred a nice female back to her grandsire. He is a real nice male, ten years old and has produced some real nice dogs.

What can you tell me about the following dogs:

His sire is GRNTCH Lee's Creek Magnum TJ who is out of GRNTCH GRCH Cedar Creek Augie and GRNTCH Robinson's Red Wendy II. Wendy is out of GRNTCH GRCH Beshears Blue Boy II and GRNTCH Indian Creek Wendy.

His dam is NTCH Rooster Ridge Little Old Sandy who is out of NTCH Bam Bam and GRNTCH GRCH Dickey's Old Sandy. Sandy is also out of GRNTCH GRCH Beshear's Blue Boy II.

I know you have the Bam and Dickey's Old Sandy breeding. Just wondered if you knew the other lines. Thanks!

sure glad you got her bred cant wait for this litter how is julie doing do you think she remembers you and her old home little julie is just like her personalpty plus little pup the other day she was up the mountain with me and treed 3 kitten coon and boy is she a loud pup and was she proud of herself the little blue pup is developing a big bawl mouth also i'll call you the end of the week around six

Doug, your pups will be bred similar to the way alot of my pups are bred. The Nite Champion Rooster Ridge Sandy is a littermate to Little Bam's sire, Dual Grand Champion Clemons' Treeing Bam Bam. The Augie dog through Magnum TJ carried the blood of Junior's littermate, Baldie. The Wendy female was out of the most famous cross on old Junior. I would be your pups would look well, hunt hard, have loud mouths, be stay put tree dogs, and probably not run junk. I know the side of the same families I use are that way, generally speaking. I have bred a Dual Grand Champion back to his grandmother and got a Dual Grand Champion. I hope you do too. I do know the dogs you mentioned will stand up to close breeding.

thanks, he is an impressiev male, he is big and strong, GRCH with good strong bone, cat footed, broad head, extremely loud, and a good tree dog. Not shy, hard driving, not mean around any other males, and Kevin says he has always been trash free. In fact he looks like the picture you have of Clemons' Treeing Little Bam. Good luck, glad I can get info on the older dogs from you, I find the history of bloodlines extremely interesting. Thanks again.

Julie is doing good, she acts like she has known me all her life. I have been taking other dogs out hunting she cries to go so can't wait till she is out of heat to hunt her. She wouldn't stand till Friday so I bred her Friday and back on Sunday too. Kyle and I hunted the male Saturday nite with ole Reba and Kate. We had a ball, the male is impressive and LOUD, got some real nice tree pics to show you. I processed the film Sunday morning and made copies for Kevin, then enlarged a real nice picture of his male to 8 X 10 and framed for him, he was tickled to get it.

Please send me Julies Easy Entry card and I'll start showing her when I show Kate. I'd like to finish her to Grand.

Make sure you get ahold of Skip Strawn, he and wife Clarice are real nice folks and have English dogs, they belong to the Jackson Pa. club. Talk with you soon, Julie is fine.
