We've got a new baby!!!!!!!Whopeee!

I was not going to make any more post for a while, but, well,

You may remember me telling you about my daughter's son, Sawyer Logan passing away about 1 1/2 yrs. ago. He was two years old. Sawyer was Geoff and Melinda's only child.

Well, Melinda just gave birth to a 8lb.4oz. boy, Brody Logan Stroud. It has been along time since I saw that gleam in her eye, and that big smile on her face.

Brody can't fill Sawyers shoes, but he can fill his shoes. We are excited. My youngest daughter, Hannah, is due sometime this week. She is going to have a little girl. We will be up to our " Eyeballs" in babies, and I love every minute of it.

God is SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

You know you couldnt wait to make this post. Congratulations to the whole family and hope everything goes okay. You are right God is Good. I miss my 2 boys being babies. Now 17 and 12. May God continue to bless you all. Remember the good thing about grandbabies is that you can spoil them and then send them home..lol

I thank the Lord everyday for my two little ones and tell them every night that they are the best thing I have ever done LOL...They are surely a blessing! I bet this little guy will be cherished deeply after what your family has been through.

Thanks everyone for the overwhelming response. I've lost a sister, and my dad. My mother is in the final stages of alzheimers, but I must say that I have never felt pain like giving up my grandson. I visited his grave on Sawyers birthday and my daughter was ther with all of his toys placed around the grave, and praying for the Lord to take her too. To see my daughter grieve so was indescribable.

She is smiling now!!!!! It took 6yrs, after marriage, for Sawyer to come. We were concerned that it might take a long time for her to get pregneant again.

Thanks again for the overwhelming response.

B/T/W...Went hunting last night and had fun. Got one treed!!!
Several young guys in our church have been bitten by the coonhunting bug. ........I'm talking about, got it bad.
