another rule?

if you have 2 dogs splie tree, and you go to both dogs and tie them. go to the dog who treed first and see a coon. and the the other dog is gone from the tree. like lead comes unsnapped or somthing? what do you do?

You could look at this in 2 way

1. Dog left tree minuse

2. Owner needs new leed strap, uses belt looses pants while going to truck all get a good laugh

What if someone in the cast unleashed the dog? This happened to me. I tied my dog to a tree about a foot in diameter. Shine for 5 mins, my dog is still there, next time I look up, she is gone from that tree with the leash still attached to her collar. Now what? Still minus the dog?

Did you see someone from the cast take the dog away? If not minus the dog and start the 8. A dog should stay treed reguardless of whether or not it is tied to it.

Rule 17 states "dogs at tree must be leashed". I don't see anyway around that one. If your dog does not remain leashed until the judge orders to recast, I'm thinking the dog would be minused. Now if you catch somebody releaseing your dog, that is basic misconduct. Scratch them and write them up.
