let me know if you find a recipe that actually works guys!!
I'm just asking now?
Why can't you make this like I make Pecan Brittle, in the Microwave????????????
By the way, the Pecan Brittle is as good as I've ever eaten. Takes about 12-15 minutes from start to finish.

DOGWOOD --use a double boiler type on the turkey cooker and it will not burn or stick ---use a candy thermeter to tell when you have it cook enough

Dogwood English,
here is the recipe for microwave "Pecan Brittle".
INGREDIENTS::::::::
1 1/2- 2 1/2 cups of Pecans
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of white corn syrup
1/8 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. of butter
1 tsp. of vanilla
1 tsp, of baking soda
Spray a 2 qt. microwavable bowl with pam to prevent sticking. Combine pecans,sugar,syrup,& salt in the bowl.
Microwave 8- 8 1/2 minutes on high. Stop & stir after 4 minutes. When the 8 - 8 1/2 minutes is up add the butter & vanilla & stir. Microwave 2 more minutes on high. HERE IS WHERE YOU HAVE TO BE QUICK & READY. When the 2 minutes is up, add the baking soda & stir fast until it is foamy. Quickly pour onto a greased cookie sheet.
Let it cool & then break it up into small pieces.
Hope you like it.
