Do you tie your hounds out?


If you do, you need to open the Legislative forum on the state association website, www.sccoonhunters.com and check out the bill introduced into the Senate.
If you tie your hounds out you better take this bill seriously and voice your opinion to your representatives! Mine are in a kennel but I still contacted mine and let them know that I was against it. Senate bill S833 states that you cannot keep a dog on a chain for longer than three hours within a twentyfour hour period. There is an exception for hounds but it needs clarification.

While you are there please take the time to register as all of the board is not available unless you do.

I read this post and I think it is CRAZY!!!
I dont tie my dogs out either but what is next?< we cant CRATE train our dogs? or keep them in a pen but for so many hours a day?

I heard mention of this earlier on the news here in North Carolina. Whether you tie out your dogs or not, you need to voice that you are against this. If you dont who knows what is next.

our goverment is sick

there are better things for them to do than worry about a dog on a chain, like all the drugs on the streets, kids being raped, kids carring guns to school, how about trying to fix the social security or our health care, i have about had enough with them not doing what needs to be done in this country. We might not see it in our time on this earth but our children will see it that a hunter will not be able to free cast a dog if something is not done with this sick *** bunch we have in the goverment today.

I know, I know !! But where do you draw the Line ?? I can show you Hundreds of Bear Hounds that will never be off their chains till next Aug. the start of Trainnig Season .. You can talk to these Hound owners till your blue in the Face but they'l never change their ways of keeping their hounds. They refuse to build kennels and Run areas.. Hey I just Respect My Hounds ! I believe they can House better.. JMO
