Need to waterproof some leather.

What is the best thing you have found that last a while to treat leather with that works well?

The worlds best thing is.SNO SEAL.I put it on my boots 3 years ago.And still have not had to redo them.Completely waterproof,keeps the leather plyable,and does not deteriate the leather.

obenauf"s leather preservative -google it- check it out .ive been using this stuff for a bout 4 years and ill keep using it. ive tried most of the stuff out there . i like this the best.

I use sno-seal, I like it better than mink oil for most things, like boots or dog collars. Mink oil is better on saddles.

Neats Foot oil.... i have to usue it several times a year.. cause i put my work boots thru HE dubble L...

I read a book by Gene Wensel on deer hunting.For you that don't know,Gene and his brother Barry are big time deer hunters.They have been at it a long time and are very good at it.
Gene said in his book that the best thing he has found to waterproof boots,and I am sure he has tried everything out there,is wax.He goes to a hardware store and gets a wax toilet seal,and just rubs it in real good.
