Last day of season

and its snowing! suppose to get 5-10 inchs so I guess I won't be going out tonight. Its not been a bad season though better then last year when we had ice all most the whole time. Could of been a little better if the truck motor hadn't blown up but its all good. When does everyone elses seasons end?

You know what I have not been able to hit the woods all week because of weather or family sickness. Yeap it is starting to spit a little snow here in Mid-MO as well. But I tell you what if it isn't to severe when dark arrives I am going to put these blue dogs in the woods for one last killing!!!

Here in eastern NC it's open till the end of February, then you just put the gun in the house and keep hunting!

feb 15. it looks like we will be getting 5-10 tonight but will warm up and melt before my season ends... I HOPE!! im getting pretty bored just sitting here in the house all night. bRING ON BETTER WEATHER!

Tonight at mid-night ends. Supposed to get some snow here also but hoping to get out awhile before it comes down, then it will be time to get after them yotes!!!! I think our group has killed 15 yotes so far, it ain't enough though!!!!

We have until the end of February here in Kentucky. Most hunters hunt right on year round, however, as the game wardens around here could care less about coon hunters hunting out of season. All they are worried about is the elk.

We went last night and knocked one out. Almost whiteout snow right now, dont think I'll be going anywere tonight either.

All in all it was a pretty good season. Best weather I remember in along time as a whole.

I'll be back at it when the snow melts. Just wont have to worry about carring the gun around.

Minnesota ends March 15th but we have not been able to hunt for over a month, the snow is deep in the woods and it has been very cold. Everyone up here are dying to get out of the house.

Went out on our last night in Missouri.. It was a rough one.. Treed one, then it bailed out when i walked up there. Not a good way to end the season....lol

I said the hell with it and took the hounds out last night in the driving snow. I mean it was coming down too....it was hard to see over 30 feet in front of you. My wife thought I was plum nuts, and I assured her I was!!!! But I wanted to give my hounds one more coon and they did a **** good job at treeing one last night on the outside. It was very hard to find him with the snow hitting me in the face. But I finally was able to locate him and bring him on down. I like taking my hounds out in adverse conditons to see what I have. I sure wish MO. would give us the first 15 days of Feb. back!

went for the last time of the year last night and killed 8 singles! Glad its over in a way kind of tired of caring the gun around! Now its time to get down to some real pleasure hunting and maybe a hunt or 2!
