A close hunting buddy of mine took second place registered friday night with 150+. Scores were not all that high. He said the silver dollar crank dog cast came up empty. Hot and Dry.

Puppy Power

Gary Woods' fifteen month old puppy won High Scoring Bluetick at Plott Days. This was the pups' first time out of the south. Some of these southern dogs stand on their head when they go north. Not used to that many coon. Didn't seem to bother this little treeing machine. He is already a Grand Show Champion. He has two wins toward Grand Nite. The Axe dog is a powerhouse of a pup. I was going to say he is going to be tough when he grows up. But it seems he is already tough. This puppy often trees coon other grown dogs don't even tree on. They check him and move on. I wish he was mine. Congratulations Gary and Taterbug. Taterbug is eight years old. She put a few of the wins on Axe and a young female of theirs Dixie. Keep up the good work Gary, you'll make us blue folks proud.

It was up, but this year we had 3 days of UKC Field Trials and Water Races where we didn't have a place to have them in previous years.

Thanks Harry!!!!! you know its not about the pup its about that great reproducing dog you have. (mulberry blue river) i have only been doing this for a year and a half now. people like me can only thank the ones who have been breeding for years. or how else could we get a good dog, no matter what color of dog we all have we have to give credit to the ones that was in this before we were. oh yea taterbug said she is ready for a good hunt...gary woods
