advice for e collar repair

My trashbreaker is old and won't hold a charge anymore. Does anyone have any experience with getting them fixed? Is it better to just buy a new one or can the batteries be replaced? If the batteries can be replaced where have you had it done and what was the cost? Thanks, Doug

Tri- tronics also takes old units on trade if you want to trade up. Then you dont have to wait to have yours fixed. Its not the greatest deal but thats what I did.
Tri-tronics has a flat rate for repair too, but I thought it was a little high.
