Morris' King Coma II Syndication

Bill Morris wrote:
In lifes journey, we are introduced to many different story's. Some story's we read about, some we hear about and in some cases we have an opportunity to watch a story develope and litterly unfold before our very eyes. Such is the case in regard to a man and a dog out of Western Kentucky. April 4th. of 2004 marks the two year anniversary of the arrival of UKC NTCH/PKC CH MORRIS' FLATROCK KING COMA, to Benton, Ky.. Over the last two years we have seen much developement and publicity about this dog known as KING COMA. As any good breeder knows, as a dog ages, the primary goal is to create and replace his stud dog with one in like form to the sire. As things have developed over the last two years, we feel this has been accomplished with KING COMA through a special cross made with a female out of Missouri owned by Rick Emory. This particular female is out of NTCH MISSOURI RIVER DRIFTER X CASEYS WILD JOEY.
Within the line of dogs through KING COMA II, breeders have a tremendous opportunity to introduce their females to a stud dog which will pass along the traits & abilities from great dogs such as, Flatrock Coma, Bozo, Balls Hickory Nut Harry, Merchants Bawling Barney, Flatrock Sheena, River Bend Flag, Normans Coon Stopper, Guills Screaming Eagle, Houses Lipper, Houses Clint, Bennett Springs Eli, Thornhills Big Mac Attack, Dohoneys Banjo and Herb Carstens Abner. From his mother comes, NTCH Missouri River Drifter, Gold Creek Ace and Mundo, Crowding Billy, Wessel's Wild Casey, Logans Wild Clover, two World Champions, SCH Pack Man & Tony's Wild Joey.
After much debate and councilling, the decision has been made to offer to a limited number of participants, an opportunity to be part of the Syndication on KING COMA II. The following is a brief outline of some of the criteria that will be used in the developement, promotion and marketing of MORRIS' KING COMA II.
#1 An Advisory Council of 6 men is being established for the purpose of creating ideas for marketing, promotion and developement of KING COMA II. Individuals appointed at this time are, Rick Emory and Vannie Griggs.
#2 Participation in the Syndication will be limited to 100 individuals at an introductory fee of $1000.00.
#3 In May of 2004, a special escro account will be set up with a bank for the collection and distribution of all revenue generated from KING COMA II.
#4 A complete booklet will be available for all participants outlining the the initial procedures in the developement of the Syndication.
#5 All fees collected from the particpation in the Syndication will be held in the interest bareing escro account until certain goals are reached, as outlined in the booklet. At such time the funds will be distributed William L. Morris for the developement of KING COMA II and a percentage retained by the Syndication for the intitial developement and launching of KING COMA II on a National Basis. This will be done under the MAP (Market America Program).
#6 As a paricipant in the Syndication of KING COMA II, each individual will be entitled to their portion of all revenues generated and will be accounted for and distributed on a quarterly basis.
#7 Once the Syndication is in place and funded, all and any revenues generated by MORRIS' KING COMA II will be the Sole Property of such Syndication and it's participants.
#8 (RGC) Revenue Generating Concepts, will be any and all monetary value generated from participation in hunt events. Any and all monetary value generated from stud fees. Any and all monetary value from collection of semen for freezing, fresh chilled and A.I. fees. Any and all monetary value generated as a direct result of MORRIS' KING COMA II.
This has been an initial and brief outline of the concepts to be used in the Promotion and Marketing of MORRIS' KING COMA II. Their are still many facets and ideas to be finalized before the publicizing of the the booklet outlining the final details. This idea is being introduced to give you an opportunity to decide if you would like to be one of the participants in what could be the most exciting opportunity to ever be introduced to the Walker Breed.
The decision of becoming a participant rest soley upon you. You may want to get a pencil and do some calculations. Over the next 5 to 10 years, will this Syndication generate $500, $5,000, $50,000, $500,000 or possibly $1,000,000? You are the only one to decide if this is right for you. It may be more than just the money. It may be knowing you are part of this exciting opportunity.
This is a very serious concept and opportunity. If you have any questions in regard to participating in this Sydication, contact Bill Morris by phone or email. All emails must have your name, city and state of location, phone number and the best time to contact you. Any emails without this information will not be responded to.

If your dog is fat,you aren't getting enuff exercise!
Syndicating , is more than just buying or owning . this is used to for tax shelters or even preserving something , such as a bloodline . i read the post good and it just goes to show that this marketing technique is used literaly on everything . this must be a first to the dog world . it appears that there will be a board of trustees granted , if that is the case they will see that it is ran on the up and up ! i think it will go over in a big way . and many more will follow suit .
There was an imported Kelpie , cowdog, that was sydicated several years ago. Ten shares sold for $2,500 each . The guys buying in got to breed one or two females a year for as long as the dog lived.
Too funny WV!
My God man, this is a freakin dog here. You talk about some self-glorification. I bet those boys on the other board are already drooling and counting their change.

I'm sure there was many shares sold before the word to the public was ever given . It's just a dog .
Would this be interesting : Let's say that all the shares are sold , and it would turn out to be that 51 of those shares were owned by UKC (non pkc huntunters ) hunters and 49 were owned by PKC hunters , lets say the 51 % decide they dont want the dog hunted in PKC hunts . wouldn't that be interesting ? I guess this is where the advisors would have to have a meeting and make a decission ?
but i really like the concept here . i knew this was coming to the hound world , i just didn't know when .
Poolecw
You honestly don't beleive that the people on the other board are taking this serious do you? If you do then your badly mistaken.

If they aren't they should be , this is layed out pretty much as a rule of thumb for any syndicate .
without a dobut the most strangest thing i have ever seen on any of the boards.......almost pathetic..........
Trooper and Waterdogg
Self and Emory
Looks like a dog good enough to be syndicated would be a PKC Platinum CH. and a UKC GRNTCH. Someone must think alot more of him than I do.
He hasn't even been in a hunt yet. I read on the other board that he won't even hunt him next month in the Baby Stakes hunt. I guess he is saving him, too valuable to show to the public.
He has one of those funny birthdays, too. May 1st.
See, if he had been born one day earlier, he would have been in an older pup class. Just lucky he was born on the first day of the next age pups.
I would get in but his name would have to be changed....
ENRON........ sounds about right!!!!!!!! LOL
Hopefully they can pull it off and then someone new will be making coondog history...... as I personally could care less if they were selling the dog for a 100 bucks but it does make for great one liners don't it.
Good luck Bill.... seriously I hope you can do wonders with the dog regardless of shareholders or not.
Must have forgot what he posted on the board, for the world to see, that you and your brother done him dirty on his female, what was her name?
I'm being gentle with the wording.
Ole hour and 39 minute SUGAR.......All he had to do was meet Doug and pick her up as agreed upon instead of trying to get him to hunt her again. You know there are some things one will over look to get something else but when the first thing you see is what you most hate then you lose interest pretty fast.
I had two serious statements in my first post.... I wouldn't get in at the whole dog for 100, but I do hope the dog does well for Bill and those that take part in the however or whatever becomes of him. I have no hard feelings towards the man but I wouldn't do any business with him either, just the way I am... I have told him about a couple gyps for sale over time that I thought he might be interested in but I wouldn't sell him one for 10k that I would give someone else. I used to think it was other people with the problems... but from the last 2-3 years it seems to get worse... figure it must be me that doesn't fit into the (norm) of the coonhunting game. by the way you seen Joe lately..lol
