Plot Dog named SAM

Who was it that owned the plot Dog named sam , he won Best of Show Back in the Ninetys The Guy was from Panama City Fla.
His forst name was Johny if im Not mistaken ?
I was at that Show , and he was the Best looking hound in the Show and thats Coming from a True Walker man
