What he just whipped a gun out and shot it?
No he went all the way back to the truck and retrieved it, came all the way back to the tree, and dispatched the coon.

Fox Farms, he has been barred for over a year now. Too long if you ask me. The guys with poor eyesight received nothing. And won nothing.

I did the opposite one night. Not on a hunt. 2 guys swear they see a coon. I dont and I go get the gun and say.Show it to me lol.. They shot a half box of shells and didnt show me a coon lol !!! I heard that coon he shot was in the wide open...Sounded fishy to me.
WELL,
I GUESS THATS ONE WAY TO PROVE TO YOUR CAST THAT YOUR HOUND HAS THE MEAT,LOL.
Id say someone just didn't want to see the coon!

SAVE THE COON, HUNT WITH A HOUND!
So thats what happened then. He was in a cast and they were trying to screw him and he proved it to them. That makes sense I guess, I dont know if it deserves being banned for a year.
This one has always been rehashed to make the guy look like a saint and the other 3 look like cheaters. The fact is, 3 out of 4 said it wasn't a coon. They all went back to the trucks. 4th guy got his gun, went back out and shot a coon, and brought it back to the trucks. 3 coons in several different trees were seen by the cast walking out. He could have shot any of them. He pleaded guilty to breaking a UKC rule and was barred.
dan dogs, i did mean a coon not a dog. my mistake. and chopper i think this guy is a saint. put in the same position i would do the same. regardless of the consequences! i cant stand someone who cheats just to win. these hunts are meant to be a way of visiting with fellow hunters, much like this message board, but face to face, and also a way to judge your own handling abilities as well as your dogs abilities. if you cheat you are not only cheat others you are lying to yourself. if some people can live with that i feel sorry for them. j m o
that's funny. I think he needs a pat on the back
