Toy Rat Terrier Certification
I was told and I also read some where but can't remember where that once my toy rat terrier turns 1 year and is under 12 inches she should be certified a toy rat terrier. There was paperwork or certain documentation that was needed by the vet to verify her height. Do you know anything about this?

There are certainly requirements for each breed. We have no breed with the name Toy Rat Terrier. I would suggest that you view both standards. If your dog doesn't meet the standard of which it was registered, then we suggest that you do not breed the dog.
I think you might have the registries mixed up.
I believe you are talking about the UKCI which has a "Toy Rat Terrier" classification for dogs that are under 10lbs.
In the UKC this dog would be referred to as a "mini" which is 13" and less.
Hope this helps
Thanks JJA.
