Are you talking about the one in Nite Lite?

I got one a couple weeks ago and used it 2 nights and took it off. The switch has no varience as far as brightness, it is either on or it is off. The low side isn't much brighter than the walk light on your side. The high side is brighter and you can shine trees with it, but nothing like the high side of what you have already. The thing that really bugged me is that it mainly shines out in a spot and not a flood. If you want to look at your watch, you have to hold your wrist up above your eyes to see what time it is. I like Nite Lite products, but on a scale of one to ten, I would give it a 3. If you read the description closely, it says for use where a bright light is not needed. It goes on to say great for camping and fishing, but it doesn't mention a thing about coon hunting. I love the concept and think it has possibilities with more electrical tweeking. But, for now it is a waste of money.

i really like the one blazer has...my uncle has it and have hunted alot with him....its not the 5100 style, but its pretty nice....awesome burn time with it....only down side i have saw is it is still bright on low....still getting coons to look though...i've just always liked a dim light to get them to peek

Im told the Blazer head is not cheap at all...The night lite one is worth trying. You can always send it back if you dont like it .Im going to order one...I think it depends on what set up you have..How well it works for you should depend on how big your battery is...I use a 17 volt prowler Pro....Many of my buddys buy the biggest and baddest lights every year or so.They have all kinds of trouble with them.Im still sticking with my prowler..Ive had 3 of them they last 6-7 years..They are just as bright as the big boys..And a lot cheaper..I might blow 1 bulb a year..My buddy blew 3 of the 10.00 bulbs in one night..He didnt have that light long..LoL

NEW BLAZER HEAD

I spoke with a guy at Blazer, he said that the new head is $199.00. The head has 8 or 9 settings. He says it is guaranteed to never blow a bulb and if I remember correctly 20 hrs on high side and 50 hours on low side. He also says that it doesnt put off any heat.
