when does ukc pick some one for the horizon award? and when is the deadline to send in pictures for the youth specail issue?? happy huntin and thank-you

Horizon Award receivers are picked by the Breed Associations. Not exactly sure on how they decide who to pick but after they do decide they send the nomination to UKC. I think this years had to be in by October. It's kind of explained in a half page ad in a past CB, right by the Youth section usually. The 2007 picks should be in the January Issue.

Not sure when the deadline is for sending in Pics for the Youth issue, but it can't hurt to get them in early!
