losing your religion

Try walking a mile between dogs split tree'd just to find out that one has a possum tree'd on a round bale, and the other one has a possum in the ground. That'll test the limits of your patience, especially when the one in the ground is a nt. ch., and you know that she knows better. Thank goodness that they make hickory's in the right size to trim off and correct that problem, guess i'll find out tonight if she understood the general idea of that conversation or not.

you got hat right, Come to Jesus meetings and What the heck am I doing out here.. LOL

Posted by george florence on 11-10-2007 07:09 PM:

i think she got the point

We ran 3 tracks last night in hard hunted spots, all 3 wound up in the ground, the other dog backed up and grabbed a tree. Mine came back in while we were shining the tree's. No coons were seen in any of the tree's, so I don't feel too bad about the way she worked. At least she stayed clean, lol.

They"ll figure out it's wrong after a few time's. Hd it happen to mine and just last night a friends dog caught one on the ground, my dogs came to see what was going on and barked alittle and left knowing what happen's if you join in LOL. A few times with a whippen gets them thinking about running one again. Sooner or later they give up on Mr Grinner.

Don't let them fool ya, they know the difference in there scent. Just easy to bay one!

Mine will absolutely not tree one. She and I had an understanding several years ago. She will pass one up even if another dog is baying one.

I had a young dog a couple years ago who kept running short tracks and next you knew she was a quarter or so running another one. I walked in to see exactly what the heck she was doing, and she had one in her mouth and was about to catch another one.

Stupid dog was carrying one around while tracking another!!!!!

It wasnt my first "come to Jesus meetin", but you better believe she "saw the light". We stayed on our knees 'prayin' untill I was sure she had.
