Light Switch ?????????

I have a switch that is bad. Just wondering if any knows what kind of diodes are on 21v switches and what is the part that is inbetween the diode and the wire that goes to the jack? Thanks

mine went bad about a month ago. they cost about $16. don't know anything about fixing them

The part you are looking at is the ceramic disk capacitor
