Coon hunting in wyoming

I may be moving to Wyoming in Feb for 2.5 yrs for work. I was wondering if there is anyone that coon hunts there. If so let me know. I was planning on selling my dogs and starting over when I get back but if I can find someone out there that coon hunts I will relocate them there.

I'd take my dogs with me, theres a Houndsmen group in Sheridan, most guys coon hunt during the summer, and cat hunt during the winter. I can dig up the email address if ya want me to. You might want to post some thing in the big game section, theres a few boys from WY over there. They usally hold a Zone hunt in Worland and another in Billings

Go to Muddy Gap Wy. and ask at the Gas Station to get to the "Sun Ranch" they have about 8 miles on the Sweet Water River (20' wide at the most their) Ask them for permision "Great fokes" . It starts at "Devils Gate and almost goes to Split Rock. The largest tree their is about 20' high maybe.. But theirs alot of Trash their !! Moose, Elk, Goats, Badger, Mink, Deer, Bever, Yotes.. !!! Its a great place to start pups, most of the time you can shake a coon out of the Willows.. Its Well Worth a Weekend trip their.. Another place thats all BLM land "It all yours"
Go to Jeffery City which is 15 miles west of Muddy Gap. Go South in the Middle of town and go about 5 miles and You'l be just past the Gap of "Green Moutain" and "Short Mountain" their will be a creek their, Just head east up the creek as far as you want to go, their are about 15 Bever ponds on the creek and every one is full of trout.. !!! Lots of good large trees and dens..

Their is a Prit good Lion and Bobcat Poup. their also !!

Their is a Small Motel in Jeffery City Wy. if its open this year.. or you can Camp anywhere you want on the BLM..

If you need any more if just call us..
