Treeing Curs Banned at Elnora

I just got a phone call from Amy Kovac Thomas and she informed me that Steve Baker is hoping to have Treeing Curs Banned from the Elnora Hunts. This meeting will take place this Sunday at the Gander Mt Store, for more directions look in this yrs NCFBA Handbook.
If any Treeing Cur owners that live in the Elnora IN area and can make this meeting, you should go and voice your opinion to stop this from happening.

What is going on with these people? And what put a burr under Steve Baker's saddle for him to try to pull this stunt? Elnora and the NC&FBA has been the hub of the NKC for years. If this gets pushed through, Del Morgan will get all my NKC papers mailed back to him shredded up along with a real strong letter opposing this measure.
Steve Baker for some reason, has decided that Treeing Curs and especially those with hound are less of a dog than any other Cur.
I have two Amazing Curs in my kennel and am proud to own both of them.
The Kovac's are top notch people and quality breeders of fine treedogs.
This is Steve Baker's personal vendetta against the National Treeing Cur Association and the Kovac family specifically.

If this information is correct, I for one and going to voice my personal objection of this attack to Claude Thomas and Del Morgan.

The treeing curs are winning too much basically, its the same thing the kemmer folks did with the green paper deal lol......just quit going to hunts and pleasure hunt...let the hunts die off its the only way they will learn

i talk with amy and i will be there on sunday. what is a cur it is a cross of two breeds and nkc stands for all dog reg. so who would they ban next ?? streak breed dogs or pofolk breed dogs or pistol pete blood??? you better go vote to stop this band, and ask the pres of nkc to step down and grow up. he is not out to better the sport or the breed just better his line of dogs..or something close to this statement,,,at the cost of not just amy's family but many hunters young and old who hunt treeing curs,,

If NKC allows this to happen I think it would be a good time to get behind some of the bigger UKC hunts. Treeinig Cur's are allowed in them.
