There will be FREE hot dogs and hamburgers for the youth after the Water Race and a RAFFLE for the YOUTH before the Nite Hunt entries are drawn. There will be a trophy for the YOUTH traveling the farthest and one for participation.

Other than trophies for Show and Hunt winners we also have embroidered hats.

ROUGHLY...just by lookig at this iddy bitty map, 150 miles. I'd have to look at my bigger map. You may be able to find that on MapQuest. Hope to see ya there.

Thats my sons 8th birthday. I asked him if he wanted to hunt in his first nite hunt on his b-day and that is all he has talked about ever since! I saw Duke at Wal-mart the other night and he said he may need some guides. We said we could take a cast down to Caldwell if he needed us to.

Valley view has a nice set up Duke has done a great job with getting ti ready and is still working on making it better I go there every month for the show and water race .
tried to get the neighbor to take Under but he's been to busy chasing the girls LOL

An added note about this weekend. It is Valley View's Trade Day. We have vendors selling all sorts of things from socks to dogs. If you come with dogs for the weekend there is camping in the trees. If you want to camp it is $25.00 for weekend - FRI-SAT-SUN.

If you want to stay the weekend and don't want to pack food, they have a food stand on the grounds.

The Exit for the grounds is off I-77 about 7 miles south of the intersection of I-77 & I-70.

In addition to the Youth Event we hold a treeing contest for Adults, Teens (12-18), and Youngins, dash race and water race open to dogs on the grounds.
