if i could bring back the stud to life ,
i would get a pup or as many pups as i could from

GR.NITE CH. CONGERS LAWTOO

why,
i bred my female casey jo to him and she raised 1 male pup

"saylors lawtoo's tom"
he was doing it at 7 months old and blowing away the old dogs at 12months and didnt look back,,
he produced the same..

i got a female pup "samatha" from mike adams when he owned lawtoo ,,
she run her first track at 4 1/2 months old and had the meat while the older dogs (different bloodline) was jacking the track in the creek...
she was a natural like was tom and throwed a few naturals too.. ...
maybe i was lucky ,but if lawtoo was alive today i'd bred every house linebred female to him that i could get my hands on...

today ,
i got it in my yard now ,
any one of the males out of the lawtoo x house blood i have ,or

the boone dog of ray webbs which is a grandson of lawtoo(LAWYER/LIPPER)on bottom and granson deanwood drifter x lipper female on top.

i have 4 female pups from boone x double lawtoo female now ,makes them tripple lawtoo with none of the whatever was winning the hunts crap in them neither...
i beleave they are all spoken for,
3 wks old today

I believe I liked those Stylish Harry pups the best.

I think that if you are an English guy you would be sorry to overlook Buckley Creek Timber or Charley 7. I own pups from both and will prove themselves in the woods soon. Walker guys Kong is the only thing Id put on the end of a lead strap. I am an English guy for life and wouldn't consider switching but I might hide a kong pup out back.

An original Plott direct out of Von Plotts best bear dogs...........

One of ole men that got me into hounds was from Waynesville. He and his brother got some plotts from him in the 60's. He had some pups from crossing some of these up that were game getters. Most all the original plotts were bridle, now you have alot od black ones.

He said the ones coon hunted with were nothing like what Von hunted.

Hands down.....Grntch Logan's Wild Clover.....the most under rated/ over looked stud dog of the past...I believe this hound would be at the top of all the breeding charts if he was bred as much as Rat or Harry or Lipper...I believe he would rank right up there with Sackett Jr. ALthough you can't go wrong with a pup directly out of Sackett Jr.
