Purina pro plan?

My pup is just now 9 months old, should I keep her on the puppy mix? I thought about starting to mix it with the adult. Which adult do you guys use?

many large breed dogs... rottweilers, gsds should not be on puppy much past 3 months. the puppy causes too much growth and energy and will harm their joints (ie hip dysplesia). i think with coonhounds you can go either way.

my vet says puppy chow till one year old, cause they are still growing and need the nutrients that are in the puppy food.

I was wondering that also. I have been feeding Pro Plan Chicken & Rice to my three year old and was wondering about switching my 7 mo old pups to it instead of the puppy Pro Plan. I looked on the back of the bag (adult bag) and it gave instructions for feeding puppies on it so I switched.
