Breeding ?

SHOULD YOU BREED YOUR FEMALE MORE THAN ONCE IN THE HEAT CYCLE.I MOSTLY JUST BREED THE FEMALE ONCE WHILE SHES IN HEAT.BEING I OWN BOTH DOGS WOULD IT BE OKAY TO BREED HER SERVERALS TIMES.THE LAST BREEDING SHE DIDNT PRODUCE PUPS.
FALSE PREGNACY 6 MONTHS AGO SHE PRODUCED MILK BUT NEVER HAD NO PUPS.SHE IS COMING IN HEAT AGAIN.

Joe

Doesn't hurt at all, breed every other day as long as she will stand..I usually try the 9, 11, and 13 th days.

breed the female multiple times- i dont know of anyone that dosnt. when i bred my male max to tims jean female i just kenneled em togeather and let em go at it- neither dog was agressive, and it was after she was ready to stand. he bred her 3 times i saw, and probably more when they had their privacy.

JOE WE TRY TO MAKE SURE THE DOGS LOCK AT LEAST 3 TIMES SKIPPING A DAY IN BETWEEN.

WE'VE BRED 13 FEMALES IN THE LAST 2 YEARS, AND ONLY ONE HASNT TAKEN AND HE TOLD US WHEN HE BROUGHT HER THAT HE THOUGHT SHE WAS COMING OUT, BUT WE TRIED ANYWAY.

you dont know the exact day she came in. all heat
cycles are differnt but if she will stand let nature
take its course once should work but i am sure
no stud would mind twice or more.

Joe,
If you own both like they said above I would just kennel'em and let them go at it. I had a real nice cur dog a few years back and my old man wanted to breed him to his english female for some squirrel dogs. I just put him in her kennel throughout her heat cycle. It was the best five days of his life!!!! Although the neighbor kids did get educated as we lived in a subdivision.
