Today's Fishing Trip!

Greg and I hit the river bright and early this morning. The day started off slow as far as fishing goes but things picked up after a little bit.

This Mornings Sunrise.

Saw these just before getting into the river.

We've been seeing a couple Bald Eagles everytime we go.

The fishing started to pick up a lil when I caught this one.

After about 30 mins I made a cast to the middle of the river and then saw this and started reeling in FAST and saying GREG LOOK LOOK LOOK LOOK LOOK! Greg thought I saw a Big Smallie... Boy was he wrong. hehehehe

About 5 mins after the bear crossed I caught this 18 1/2 incher.

About 3 mins later Greg hooked into this 19 incher. It had a grith of 10 inches.

Greg with a 16 1/2 incher.

Greg with a nice Largemouth.

Cool! I've never done freshwater fishing. Looks like a nice time for sure...if it wasn't so complicated to get a license... LOL.. Paperwork...takes brain power...I'd try it. I will someday though....
NOW... That BEAR.... would have sent me running and crying home like a baby! LOL... I am SO scared of them... I KNOW when I'm deep sea fishing I have no BEAR issues... and since we were shark fishing...I can't say I was scared of them...just wouldNOT go SWIMMING off the boat! LOL.... We used to have fun "bait fishing" while we waited for shark. The hours out there, with my dad, who I miss every day still, were priceless. I would definately recommend all the moms and dads out there do this stuff, hunting and fishing, with their kids....they'll Never forget it!
