Breed Suggestions?
I have Rat Terriers right now and thinking about adding another breed to the pack. I am looking for suggestions please!
Here are my criteria:
Short to medium hair
No larger than about 60# full grown
A squirrel/coon dog....the more versatile the better!
Prefer UKC registered as I bench show and hope to hunt there too.
Here is the "kicker" I want an "American Made" breed. One that has originated here in the USA. What would be even best would be one made in KY, my home, or SC, my adopted home.
So suggestions please?

PLOTTS...
the basis for the breed was a dog from germany and then from what i understand was that other breeds were introduced to make the plott we know of today.
Sounds like a cur dog to me.
