A Sad Day Today

Today we will be putting my Dad to rest with a military funarl. He passed away Sunday night from lung cancer. He was most likely the reason I am such a dog lover. He always had dogs around. He even raised German Shepards in his younger years.
My Dad would even have the wild squirrals come up on his front porach and eat out of his hands. He had so much patience with all animals. We at one time had some ducks and he had them things to where he would tell them it was time for them to go back into their pens and by golly they would waddle back in there. He will be missed, but he is now out of all the pain and at his perement home Heaven with his son and a nephew and my son just being happy and healthy now. Just had to get my feelings out.

OUR thoughts and prayers are with you. He IS at rest and he is with you, always. he will always be carried with you and all of his loved ones. You tell it all when you explain WHY you do the things you do. He was already a BIG part of you but now you carry him.

So sorry for your loss. Sounds like he was a great man. Lost my father a little over three years ago from lung cancer. Know what you are going through. Will be praying for you and your family.

Deb, I am very sorry for your loss. I know what you are going through and it is a hard place for anyone to be. Keep your head up and always remember that he is with you no matter what. That's the one thing that helps me, and I hope it does you as well.

I'm sorry for the pain and loss that you and your family are having to deal with Deb. We also understand the feelings at the end when there can only be one result. From your post it sounds like you have many memories that will always be with you.

Just got back from the dinner and I want all of you to know I felt all your prayers as we were sitting at the grave site throught the 21 gun salute. My Dad will be greatly missed but will always carry on in my heart again thank you to all NO thanks to all my hound family as truely you are all Love all of you.
