3rd Annual DODDRIDGE COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP AUG 4th

This is the third year for this event. It is held at the Doddridge county coonhunters club in West Union, WV. This is a great event. We always have a big turn out. Entries keep getting bigger evey year.

The way this hunt is done. We have a regular UKC hunt. We hunt Grade, Registered, Nitech, and Grnitech dogs. (LAST YEAR WE HAD A FULL CAST OF GRNITECHS) The four High Scoring cast after the UKC hunt is over and slips are filled out, go back to the woods with a Non hunting Judge to hunt for One hour to chown the DODDRIDGE COUNTY CHAMPION.

Last year on the final for we had 10 trucks of guys go out to watch the final four. It was the most I hunters I ever been in the woods with at one time.

We have good guides and everyone has a chance to make the final four.

The Doddridge County Champion Wins a New 21 Volt Belt Light.

This is a great event. Come join in. Bench show entry is 8 dollars and the hunt entry is $15 dollars. We have a super nice set of trophies. To Be eilgible to hunt in the final four, you must join the Doddridge county club for a $3.00 membership.

My wife is a West Union girl! I cant make it to the county hunt but plan to be up the following week for the West Virginia State Hunt on Fri.
