Carrie's first coon encounter

This is Skyplott Carrie the Banner, owned by Beth Spillers of Alabama. Carrie is living in Texas with me for awhile. A friend live trapped a coon & I hid it in the woods for Carrie to find. It didn't take long for her to wind it and go directly to the coon and to start a nice steady chop.

The "Princess"

Carrie was a year old on 29JAN this year. Beth spoiled her rotten - she slept on the sofa and in the bed. When I brought her to my place she looked at me and said, "What's this?" She's in a big pen with a B&T pup and they amuse themselves playing tag and having hole digging contests. They like to sur[rise me in the morning with the results of their creative excavations.At this very moment, both have dirt mountains on the top of their noses.

SPOILED?

LOL... That's why my working dog(Co Owned)... doesn't live HERE! We'd ruin her! Thank goodness for partnerships that work! LOL... I have to tell you... I went up to bed last night, Bob had gone up before me...he had Carried the OLD 86 lb greyhound up, as he does Every night... the two coonies ran up on their own. I arrived after finally shutting this laptop down...Bob was stretched out comfortably on half the bed( he NEVER gets that much room!)... BnT on my pillows,Blue dawg taking up the entire area my body would be in...old grey on the dog bed on the floor...LOL... I took out some padding and made my bed up right next to the greyhound. I DID steal a pillow from beneath the BnT.... I was able to move and stretch! Best nights sleep I had in Months! LOL! The greyhound was SO happy to have company too
Spoiled...HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA! The coonhounds DO spend most days outside with dog houses and shaded kennel run in a good sized pen. They dig, they "hunt" they eat gross things, they get hot, cold, wet, and bug bitten. The are happy hounds and get to BE hounds...but man they are spoiled rotten in the house!

I hope that Carrie does great. Sounds like a nice life she's having with the BnT pup! Have fun, HappyHUnting! Heather

THanks you Skyblu.... i got my walker female Nasty for sentimental reasons...... she was likea great great grandaughtr of my ole gyp i did well with,,,,,, never thought that lil scrawny 3 months ole lil poop factory wood turn out to look like she has......

now if i can just get her hunt like her ancestory.......if she dont . thats okay....
