Most Pups Ever Had????
We had our grch female bred to mosley's blue grit and yesterday she had 17 yes 17 pups.
Just wondering what the most anyone else has had.

Had a standard poodle growing up that let herself out one day and got bred by a German Shepherd. That was before designer mutts... so we ended up with a healthy litter of 14 that we couldn't even give away!
Now we could make a great deal of money off an accident like that!

I had a walker X english cross litter with 17 pups born and she raised every pup. 11 males and 6 females. Looking back I should have cut the litter in half as it took quite a toll on the momma. Congrats on your litter. Take care.

Here are 10 of the 13 left she laid on 4 so sense this is her frist litter a neighbor had 4 pups off his dog yesterday so we took 3 over to him to raise on her. I brought 3 home with me to bottle feed so that left 7 for her to raise. she had 15 females and 2 males. there is 11 females and the 2 males left.

So, don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future.
I have a female that has had 14, then 10 and another 14. This last litter she raised 12 of the 14.
Racket never had a litter less than 11, her biggest was 14. Not bad for a dog who didnt weigh 35 lbs soakin wet. I always cut her litter to 8.
We had a little blue English female when I was a kid who had 16, but we only let her keep 8.

My male walker came from a litter of 14 raised.. Not sure how many she originally had.. Then again she raised them to about 3 1/2 weeks and was done with them. I got Brisco at 4 weeks. Owner of the dam said if we wanted one to come and get it because he wasn't keeping 14 of them...

Our last litter was 12 and we had to hand raise all of them! Mom set up an infection and had to be spayed and her milk was poisoned from her temperature.

My pup is from a litter of 16,she raised 9.Ritchie Mcdonald said his Phydeaux dog came from a litter of 19.
Our gyp's first litter she had 15 with 1 born dead. She raised them all. We had to help her out and bottle feed a couple feedings a day. One of the pups from that litter is now 100+ pounds. Our second litter from that pair had 10 pups, all survived.

My Rosie had 11 This is her first litter, one died right away the other the next day.
She is doing really good with the fat little butterballs, She was looking real scrawnie but i have upped her feed and soak it in warmed milk she's gaining some meat back.
The puppies are 23 days old and she treed a coon early this morning-- she was treeing so hard she tried several times to climb the tree, i only let her go at it a few minutes i did not want her to over heat, But she's one crazy mama haha

Our Lucy female had a litter of 5, then 10. 3 of the first litter died before 6 wks old, none of the litter of 10 did. Figure that one out...
Doug I think Bob wins!!! I can't imagine that many coming from one dog!
