went hunt last night 7-17-07

well you guys hear me talk about my dogs and have seen em on the bench now heres some pics of Under in the woods .
took him out last night about 12 cause it rained here .
he struck one track and ran it and put it in a hole in a corn field .
2nd.)
one he struck ran it from the cornfield into a soybean field and into the woods but lost it .

3rd). one he struck in a corn field ran it across a path into another corn field then into the woods and treed heres some pics and yes he had the meat just could'nt get mr ringtail to work with me on the pics

but heres Under on tree

took me like 10-15 minutes to get to him and he was still treeing strong may not be a world champion but I am proud of him
for having a girl working with him he doesnt do to bad LOL

I am getting a work out thats for sure i was covered in sweat by the time I got to under had a heck of a time getting my glasses unfogged to take pictures between getting sprinkled on by rain and sweating i did'nt have a dry spot on my shirt to wipe em off LOL
thats O.K. though I need to loose a few pounds !!

He looks great out there! He looks HAPPY and eager and handsome too!
As for not being in shape...LOL... I've been sick for quite a few months...and working hard to get well and go out in the woods...I THOUGHT I was doing darned well...LMBO... Had to go to Boston today for a Drs appt.... got a parking space...tough paralell parking in my BIG Suburban... (I'm 4'11"....) Some nice man saw me struggling a bit, and Directed me into the spot! I was SOOO happy... I had just enought time to walk to the office building. Stuff about 4 quaters in the meter... and the Darned thing was broken... had to drive around the block about ten million more times and got a good spot I could drive right into! About a mile away...and NOW almost late- so I JOGGED....LOL... I was PURPLE when the Dr saw me and still panting... I guess at 47 you bounce back a bit slower???? I was really just pleased I didn't fall...and break a leg. I am GOING to get healthy and do this. It will NOT be easy like it was when I was a teen...but it will mean SOOO much more to me! I can't wait.

Chris and Brian did'nt get Under out last night but am hoping to tonight it was alittle windy here plus we thought neighbors Bluetick female was gonna have her pups and I was gonna have to play midwife LOL but nope she is making me play the waiting game LOL.

I want to say thanks to a couple people for the nice comments on my hound .
Thank you Drob, Spottedmeadows , TREE BANGN , Mudman, Dan Morris and everyone else I know I am far from perfect when it comes to coonhunting but with your encouragement and tips I hope to become better at it I enjoy Hunting and showing and am not going to let anyone run me off!!!!

and with that said I will be hitting the woods again tonight with my dog .

I love my walkers but I also love my Blue dogs
both have qualities that cant be beat.
I would never trade Under for anything but then again I wouldnt Dancer and the girls either .
as long as they can show me the meat and make it a good interesting night thats all that matters to me .
