Performance Pack Policy - Effective June 27, 2007
Performance Pack Policy - Once a dog earns 100 points and has a first place win they are no longer eligible to enter the registered class at any Performance Pack events. They are essentially “between classes” until they can get certified. They cannot enter registered and they cannot enter champions. Dogs must be entered in the correct class and a dog in this situation technically has no class to run in.
Exception - If a dog finishes at a Challenge Series event, they may run at that Challenge Series event (weekend) without certifying. The dog is no longer eligible for Challenge Series events until the dog is certified.

?
Has this been a problem? Have people been running finished hounds (uncertified) in opens?
If so, how is UKC handling any placements earned like that?

No, it hasn't been a "problem". Just a few isolated situations. If they placed, they would not get anything for it. Now it is black and white.
