Anybody want to go the the Youth Nationals?
I really want to, but my dad said that i have to find someone to ride with us to help pay for gas money, so if anybody is interested in finding a ride to the nationals, talk to me. Thanks

Hi Stephanie,

The Iowa State YOuth Championships are this coming weekend. Maybe you could find someone there that might ride with you and your dad to share the cost of traveling to the UKC Youth Nationals. Hope you find somebody 'cause we'd love to see ya there!

Good luck!

i'm not qualified either, but i'm still going cause it's my last year to hunt in it, and it's still so much fun even if you're not qualified.

Like Jackie mentioned there is the Youth Event coming up in Glouster in July. Also keepm your ears open for a local club in your area that might be having a YEP event. If you place in a YEP event that will also qualify the handler for the Youth Nationals.

Also keep in mind that, even though you might not be qualified to hunt in the Qualified Round at Youth Nationals, there will be a Last Chance Qualifier on Friday night at YN's. If you don't get qualified then don't worry, you will still hunt in the Open Event on Saturday night. All placements will recieve lights and trophies regardless of whether you hunt in the Open or the Qualified Round. The top four places in Saturday's Qualified Round will recieve a $2,000 Furthering Education Tuition Prize as well as other prizes and trophies.

Again, either way you'll be able to hunt both nights and show on Saturday regardless. Remember to keep your eyes and ears open for a YEP seminar and event coming near you!

Nick,
If you end up going, we can give you a ride. I think we will be going pretty close to OH if you're interested.
