BRIAR CREEK ENGLISH KENNELS?????

I have a pup out of ZEB...we call him MAN OF WAR...he is the same age...is this pup out of SPIRT?

He was silent on track for a little while...NOT NOW>>>If I had to sell him...which I wonte...I would propbly ask $1000...But thats my dog...

You think of a fair price for the people an what the dog is actually worth, like in the woods an ped.

JUST ASK JIM....he'll tell ya...if your w/ BRIAR CREEK

An let him know that the pup out of Zeb that we picked up from Nebraska is doing AWSOME...an you will be seeing him at some big hunts... Thanks Billie Jo & Josh Henry

He is probably 80% accurate with an above average mouth. He is just about silent on track and will hold pressure. By pressure I am talking about another dog treeing close by or pups running around. He can not handle an ill dog but will stay at the tree and back up and just look up. He can tree lay ups and seems to have a cold nose. Performanced and SS, will be hunting him in the Spring SS then will be for sale. The man that bred him gets first chance. By the way he hunts very well by himself and will tree a possum on occassion. How do you price? Thoughts?

the dog in that desciption right there is worth a lot of money. A dog that is truely 80% accurate and isn't ill at the tree is not easy to come by. Especially a male. And he has a good mouth too. If I owned him I wouldn't sell him at all. Just my opinion.

Chris I will give ya 100 bucks for him. LOL...Seriously it sounds as if you got a pretty good hound, now tell us whats wrong with him, other than an occasional slicktail. Better yet tell us your definition of 'occasional"

occasional

One slick tail a month. I hunt 4-5 nights a week. I have tried to break him of them and he did go 3 months without treeing one. The thing I do not like is first drop he will me too anything he is hunting with. After that he is on his own. He is not a strike dog. He absolutely loves armadillos, took him down south and found that one out.

"loves armadillos". That should be correctable with a good switching or a shock collar. But then again, some dogs are much more stubborn than others. The one possom a month thing is no big deal at all. The way you describe him, if broken of armadillos, If I was a rich man I'd give you a large amount of money for the dog.

dillos

We do not have dillos up here and I had him in a hunt so could not really break him of it. Not looking to get rich, just wanting to be fair. The 15-2500 is the range I was thinking. Just wanted some advice. The breeder gets first shot, his stud dog is not getting any younger. Thanks for the input.
