Have a treeing contest. Keep part of the money for enteries and pay the winner the rest.
We are trying this at our club this year.

50/50 drawings always brings in a few dollars.

Building rental and paper shoots are the big ones at out club, not counting the UKC hunts. Paper shoots carry signifcant liability issues that must be delt with but ours are highly profitable. Renting the grounds for wedding receptions, auctions, etc is also a good moneymaker with little risk.

our club has a turkey shoot every 3rd sunday of the month, keeps the club alive. we profit $500-$550 dpending on the meat cost. if we have a full entry (20 shooters) lots of work goes on Rain snow cold heat.

meat raffles, 1/2 pig or 1/2 cow, you can buy one and have it processed into 1/2 and run 2 raffles.

Around here , alot of folks are holding rabbit hunts.
Don't need to kill rabbits though.
Go around , get donations for prizes. Prizes range from 2 liter of pop , 12 pack of pop , etc. , on up to a new gun , deer head mount , etc.
Get as many donations as you can from anywhere that'll give them.
$5 to get in.
Have them put their name on a card for drawing for prizes. ( reading ticket numbers take too long )
50/50 drawing on the side. ( extra tickets )
Maybe a pump shotgun drawing on the side. ( extra tickets )
Such like that.
Last year , the one I went to had 250 prizes , 235 entries. Everybody went home with something.
3 or 4 dollar chili/hot dog lunch.
I think they said they cleared over 2 grand when it was done.
