Which UKC Club is #1 in 2006? We need some players!

Some of you may remember that last year we recognized the Top Five UKC clubs of each state in terms of average entries per event. (nite hunt) We even went as far as to ask some of the top clubs in the country to write a short article on what they felt it took to be or become a successful club. Each one of those clubs were gracious enough to oblige our request which we then published, along with a few photos, in the December issue of Coonhound Bloodlines.

Personally, I find it very interesting to see how clubs have done throughout the year and feel that sometimes we don't give them enough credit. Recognizing these clubs is just a simple way of saying "thanks" for all their efforts in keeping this sport alive and well today, and for many years to come.

Understand there are many, many great clubs that did not make this list that also need commended. The list consists of clubs that had a minimum of three events per year. Interestingly enough, there are actually quite a few of the clubs that only have three events per year. More is not always better???? The numbers reflect average numbers per event throughout 2006. They are all the club's own event dates and numbers.

We congratulate all the clubs that make the list for 2006. Salute!

Before we announce the Top Twenty clubs of 2006, I'll list them in no particular order without their entry numbers. Whoever guesses the #1 club for 2006 will recieve a small prize. (uh, let's see, how 'bout a UKC duffle bag?) Only one guess per person. No exceptions. I'll let ya know when we have a winner.

Good guess but not the correct answer. The Cambell County Coonhunters did make a great showing in 2006. Congratulations to all the officers and members. They're in the top twenty!
