anyone else have this problem
do yall have problems with neighboring states coming to your state to hunt and act like they own the place.around my area we have alot of guys from another state come down because we have alot of game mangament land and they shoot out everycoon they see and i mean every one we seen one night and they have four coons that came out of two trees that night and they said they killed 80 something coons out of 60 trees last season they said they keep a log book we dont have alot of coon as it as and that is terrible why in the world would u want to shoot that many coons we might have shot 5 coons out this season out of theres no telling out how many trees and they wonder why they have to come down here and hunt. and it is the same thing during deer and turkey season and it is terrible when the stripers are running at lake murray. now i am not one of these people that is like this is my state stay out im like the more the merry but have respect for the people that live here and please dont shoot all our coons please

Thats why...
That's why I dont guide hunts anymore...People like this are the down fall of our clubs...We make our money to stay open by having hunts and you take some folks to a place where they can tree a coon or two...the next thing you know...I've even had dead coons hung on my feeder buckets that I had up for my young dogs...this is one of the reasons I don't hunt the hunts anymore....Its very frustrating

Home of PR. Back Swamp Fred 1st place win High scoreing male B/T sectional 650+ ( Gone But Not ForgotteN)
CH. Patricks Southern Bell ( Old girl you will be greatly missed.
Nt. Ch Long Creek Gracie. Will miss you girl.
Every place I take a cast, they have to drive past a house on the only road that leads there. Somebody WILL come down to see whats up if its not my truck. I haven't had any problems with people coming back to those places.
I have more spots, but never take a cast there because of the issue of them coming back to hunt it.
This year, I have decided not to guide any casts anyway. I am keeping those spots exclusively to hunt young dogs. Always before, we never hunted them unless on a night hunt.

I shot 4 coons this year. If someone is nice enough to let me hunt with them, I never go back to their spots without talking or going with them. Even if I do go, the chances of me shooting a coon are zero. I have made good friends this way and people trust me to run on their spots and never harm a hair of a coon.

I dont have that problem.Nobody in there right mind comes to north ga where I'm at to hunt.Did see some folks from NC around opening night of coon season. We were all on our local wma.Dont think they have been back. They made a slick and caught a skunk on the ground from what I was told!
yea the main problem we have is from nc now nowbody for nc get mad because i have met some really nice people from up there but i have met more buttholes than i have nice people they act like they own everything when the come down here it even seem like the dnrs cant get along because sc and ga have license agreements on the lakes that are on the statelines but sc and nc dont go figure

A lot of people I know have taken there nite champions and grand nite champions back to my hunting places and my buddy's hunting places. But they still have yet to make much of a dent in the coon population. And we don't have many coons anyway.

We dont have problems with people from out of state, but i do have one problem. when somebody sees my truck parked on privite land the next night they'll be there hunting and shooting all the coon they can tree. but DNR is about to take care of that, the land owners are watching for them now..
