Guiding a Cast - Rule Question

Okay, let's say this didn't happen on a cast, it's just a simple rule question.

What Rights does the Guide have while Guiding a Cast? Say they take you to a woods boxed in by busy roads, or want you to cut your dogs in an open field with no trees around, that type a thing, etc. Can the cast member(s) object and say to go elsewhere? Say they all don't want to cut the dogs for safety reasons, can they vote to go some place else?

What I've noticed is that 90% of the time the guide is also gonna be the judge carrying the scorecard, and is also gonna be best friends with the master of hounds back at the club house. Your gonna turn loose whereever he says to.

I'm not gonna turn mine loose in woods boxed in by rds! As far as the field goes.I say cut em.Get the babblers minused 1st thing!!!!!!!!

I think you can object, but if the guide refuses or cannot accomodate you, then you can withdraw. If the guide takes you to a different spot, how do you know you will like it better?

This is probably going to be a bigger problem as time goes on but I don't know what the solution is.

Well i dont think it is right for you to make a statement like that knowing there are a lot of good and honest clubs out there.

Lot of bad ones too. Your either in the right "group" or "click" or "fraternity" or your not. Just my opinion.

Sheep, Would you please tell the readers how many casts you have been a part of.....So they can make an informed evaluation of your opinion.

Thanks...

No problem. Been a cast member on 12, spectated on two. 14 all together. How many times you gotta lay your hand on a hot stove to know it burns?

So you think out of 8 clubs in much you must have been cheated 90% of the time. Do you think it is fair for you to judge the other clubs???

Depends on what you call "cheated" Josh. Seems that today that is a very very vague term when it comes to a lot of people. The way I define it. Out of all 14 casts, myself or someone else got cheated in all but 2. Some casts were a lot more than others. But that's not all I mean by that. What I mean is that the guide, judge, and MOH are all in the same circle of friends. You don't "rock the boat" too much. Everyone knows that.

sounds like comp hunting isnt your thing. Im not going to speculate what happened on those hunts, you were there i wasnt. I'd just stick to pleasure hunting.

Some people always use the cheated card. Its an excuse for LACK OF DOG POWER!!!!! Its plain and simple. If you know your getting cheated. Why not do something about it. Cheated in 12 of 14 hunts? I dont think so.Come spectate with me and see how many times I get cheated.

I can name you one club in particular, that you will either CHEAT, or you will lose your cast and GET CHEATED. I don't care what dog you bring.
