Looking for a stud

I want to breed to a coondog that produces coondogs.
Sick of wasting my time hunting with all grand, good looking, or slick tree idiots that can't get it done.

I've hunted with a lot of studs and have decided to stop wasting my time and money driving around.

So If you know of a dog that is a coondog (big word) that reproduces coondogs, please let me know.

Good luck.

call Wesley Willard

@ 662-382-7725 and tell him Rick Stevenson told you about
his Louie dog.
Louie is a direct son of Sackett Jr and out of a direct daughter of the old Flat Rock Coma. The only stud I know of bred this close to those two great stud dogs. He is coming 10.
he is a UKC night champion and PKC champion. He is beautiful.
If you pm me your email address, I can send you several pics I took when I bred to him last year.
He has about 70 to 80 pups on the ground and has reproduced several champions both on the bench and night hunts. He has one that likes two wins to be a grandnight.
He throws dogs that are almost naturally straight as you can get. Lots of color and heads that will make you drool.

I highly recommend this dog to anyone.

Only the second female that I felt was worth breeding in my twenty plus years of hunting. She is out a litter of six that all run and tree a coon in any weather condition constantly. Nothing fancy just like two looking down at me.

Picture taken in March 06.
Breed to a Wild Casey Male. Pups are track driving fools.
Want to try one more cross on her.
She will not be breed again until next fall but I'm starting my search now.

Posted by last chance on 02-01-2007 12:23 PM:

I don't know what male out of casey but the dogs I hunted with direct out of Casey were coondogs and most had real good mouths.Up here in Il. there is a male that is all coondog that is out of Gr.Nite Ch.Massey's Hardwood Banjo and Gr.Nite Ch. Bray's Primetime Tasha.Good luck to you and your hounds.I hope you find the right male.

Mr. Gates,

I'm not going to type a bunch of stuff on here for a bunch of others to pick apart.

If you would like to talk about breeding, what you are looking for, and what you have....I would be happy to share with you about the dogs that I know of and what they are reproducing.....I'm not pitching my dogs....I'll be the first to recommend someone else's stud, if that is what you need out of a stud, or what you are looking for.

Coondog stud needed

Posted by heidimarty on 05-03-2007 04:56 AM:

Honestly I've never been a big walker fan. I mean theres some nice ones out there but they were just never for me. I have a buddy up here however that hunts a Grntch Clover bred male that could eat my dog food anyday. He's one of the most honest, track driving walkers I've seen. I've seen him go in the heat, snow, 5 inches of ice on the ground, you name it, and he'll show you coons every time out. I've only known of 1 litter out of him but the male I seen out of him was extra nice. His pedigree isn't the fanciest but he's for sure a coondog.
I could get you his info if you are interested.

Still looking:
What does everyone know about pups out of these studs:

Thriple Threat
Chisel owned by Jamie Ives
Rock River Sid
Skuna River Fred or bark
Grizzly
Gold
Freakshow

Need to find something that reproduces:

Go hunting without blowing the country
above average mouth
can move a track without standing on thier head
iIndependent
Accurate (have the meat more times then not)

As little bad habits as possible like:
Face barking or fighting
running the tree
chewing
slick treeing idiots

I'm not looking for the perfect dog just something nice to keep my bloodline alive
