SW Michigan

Well, its been a great coon season here in Michigan, little or no snow until about 2 weeks ago. Even with that, we were still able to hunt most every night, until sunday morning. WOW, we have gotten dumped on. It was about 14 degrees this AM with 20-24 inches of snow in the ground. Today is the last day of season, so looks like we are done! Oh, well the dogs need some time off, so until we get a little warm up to pack this snow so you can walk, looks like its time to ride the Arctic Cat or set next to the wood stove!
For all of you that are not snowed in, Happy Hunting!

WHOAH WHOAH WHOAH

It's just the end of Kill season, we can still run the dogs until April 15! Just keep your license in your pocket.

ya, I know we still have running season Tracy, Just out of business until the snow can settle. It really sucks when we get this lake effect snow dumped all at once. I like to hunt on the snow, but its all fluff right now, up past your knee. Not my idea walking in that junk! So - I will rephrase - Kill season is over, and we are in a resting period until things settle down.

I hope you all don't have as much snow, and are still runnin' 'em!
Take Care

Timber, if ya want, give me a hollar, I'll put you in some coon up north a ways. 3" tops on the ground at the moment, and that is on the high end. I'm free most weekends.

Tracy, I'll take ya up on that when we have a little break in the weather. I'm always up for a hunt with someone new.
Looks like we are gonna really get buried this weakend - their saying blizzard conditions with windchill 15 -20 degrees below zero. Too cold for me!
